New Black Butler Anime Series Announced for 2024
During Anime Expo 2023, CloverWorks announced that a new season for Black Butler will premiere via Crunchyroll in 2024. The series follows Ciel Phantomhive, who makes a contract with a demon named Sebastian, all for the sake of enacting vengeance on those who killed his parents and tortured him in his younger days. However, Sebastian, now Ciel’s butler, is promised Ciel’s soul in exchange for his services.
This new anime series announcement follows the Book of Murder OVA and the Book of Atlantic film adaptations of the original manga by Square Enix and Yen Press.

- Character Design: Yumi Shimizu
- Music: Ryo Kawasaki
