Among Us Coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 Later This Year with Exclusive Ratchet & Clank Cosmetics

During today’s Sony State of Play, it was announced that Among Us will finally be making its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year. No specific release date was given, merely a 2021 release window.

Additionally, in the brief footage that shown, it was revealed that there will be a Ratchet & Clank skin, hat, and pet exclusively available on PlayStation consoles.

Perhaps there was a time when Among Us needed an introduction, but I’m not sure that time is now. The game has gained wide success for its accessible systems yet deep strategy. During gameplay, players will join others on a map filled with tasks. These tasks typically revolve around timed events that prove you are trying to help your crew. However, among these workers is someone looking to sabotage the mission and kill everyone without getting caught.

The goal of the game is to get away with murder. During rounds, someone among the group is a bad guy, but they have to try to keep that a secret. As people die, meetings can be called where the players discuss the events and try to choose the killer. It’s very much like Warewolf, but some unique elements make it rather addictive and fun. Additionally, players can customize their characters with accessories, which everyone seems to love.
