Atlus Unveils Persona Q2’s Opening Animation

Atlus Japan has uploaded the opening animation for their upcoming title Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth to their YouTube channel.

The trailer gives players a preview of just how large of a cast this crossover title has by showing chibi versions of Persona alumni.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is a first-person dungeon crawler that functions as a crossover title between the three Atlus titles Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5. As opposed to the previous entry, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (a crossover between Persona 3 and Persona 4), Persona Q2 will be focusing on the Persona 5 cast meeting the others and solving the mysteries contained within a bizarre cinema.

The game is set to release in Japan on the 29th of November for the Nintendo 3DS. Currently, there is no word on a western release.

In case you missed it, you can watch the game’s debut trailer which gives a preview of the dungeon crawling gameplay players can expect.

You can watch the opening animation below.

Author’s take: Despite my grievances with the previous crossover, Persona Q, this opening looks absolutely stunning and I am extremely excited for this title. It helps that the music is more than up to scratch, as they brought back Lotus Juice to be involved.
