Yuri Visual Novel ‘Watamari – A Match Made in Heaven Part1’ Launches Today in the West on PC

Sekai Project has released Watamari – A Match Made in Heaven Part1 from developer Kuro Irodoru Yomiji in the west on PC-via Steam.

Watamari – A Match Made in Heaven Part1 is a yuri visual novel that features Live 2D character sprites. This is the first entry in the series and introduces Hoshino Hikari, a transfer student to the prestigious St. Leanne Girl’s Academy. This school has a ritual before the opening ceremonies where students manifest signs of the zodiac and then are given an angelic title and a blessing.

The students who receive this blessing are known as the Angles of the Zodiac and are given a higher role in the school. Hikari just so happens to be bestowed with the grace of Virgo and becomes known as “Exousia,” even though she’s rather not stand out at all at her new school.

Watamari – A Match Made in Heaven Part1 features an interesting system where players can view the two character’s feelings for each other as if they are reading a yuri manga. Each of the girls has their own lives so that the player can control other characters alongside the main heroine through choice-driven options.

We’ll let you know when other visual novels come west from this publisher and developer.
