XSEED Games has announced that Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut is now available on Nintendo Switch. The digital edition costs $29.99/€29.99/£24.99, while the physical Day-one version costs $39.99.

This release features a new story route for the Finnish exchange student, otaku, and part-time maid Kati Räikkönen considered the “true ending” for the game. PS4 and PC owners of the original release can also purchase this scenario as a standalone DLC for $7.99/€7.99/£6.99.

Further, “the [PlayStation 4] version of the DLC is published on the PlayStation Store in Europe by NIS America to ensure compatibility with their previously released version.”

All DLC from the original release is included in the Director’s Cut as well, including collaborations with other companies. Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed Director’s Cut was initially released in 2014. The game tells the story of Akiba Freedom Fighters who defend otaku from vampires that roam the streets. To do this, they must strip the vampires to expose them to the sun. The game is fully voiced, which can also be found in the new maid raid for Kati.
