The trailer introduces the new main protagonist, Alex Chen, who is speaking with her social worker about moving back to Haven Springs, Colorado with her brother.  However, a lot seems to have happened the social worker and Alex discuss a secret that Alex is holding as she hopes to be “normal.”

In Life is Strange: True Colors, Alex has a power, or curse, known as Empathy, a supernatural ability that allows her to experience, absorb and manipulate the strong emotions of others, which she sees as blazing, colored auras. Unfortunately for Alex, her brother dies in an “accident,” and she feels her grief and curiosity towards finding out the truth behind the circumstances of his death.
