Heart of the Woods Brings Yuri Romance to Switch

Studio Élan and Sekai Games announced today that the yuri visual novel, Heart of the Woods, is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. No release details have been shared as of yet.

Thanks to the Nintendo Switch version, players will have the power to bring the magic of the forest no matter where they go, either while chilling in bed, or even out and about in real-life forests. Playing the game on Switch will undoubtedly bring about plenty of pleasant moments, trust us.

Heart of the Woods has players go on a paranormal investigation in a remote forest village with Maddie, and her best friend, Tara. Throughout the game, players will encounter plenty of ancient mysteries, and witness a love story between two girls unfold that transcends life and death. There’s more to this game than just two girls having a good time, so players should plan to expect the unexpected.

There’s much to enjoy with this unique visual novel, such as incredible character art, a beautiful soundtrack, and even, as the developer calls it, “a really, really gay ghost”. We happen to play through the PC-via Steam version of the game and enjoyed it, giving it a 7 out of 10 in our review, and calling it a “lovely game”.
