Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE DLC Episode 2 “Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day” Releasing August 2023

Spike Chunsoft has announced that the second DLC episode for their recently released mystery adventure, Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, is titled “Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day.”

Starring Detective Fubuki Clockford, whose Time Leap Forensic Forte ability can rewind time under certain restrictions, this second DLC episode is planned to release in August 2023. Currently, the store page states that August 31, 2023, will be the launch date, but that day itself may be a placeholder since it’s the final day of the month; that usually tends to be the case, anyway.

The first DLC episode, “Ch. Desuhiko: Charisma Killed the Cat,” was released today.

You can purchase the Season Pass for $16.00 to save roughly four bucks and get each of the four DLC episodes as they launch.

The release windows for the remaining DLC episodes are listed below:

• DLC 3 available September 2023
• DLC 4 available October 2023

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE has players control an amnesiac detective who is followed by a Shinigami and solve cases by examining crime scenes and evidence. The Shinigami will create a realm connecting the crime scene to the truth. Mystery Phantoms will try to impede your progress, and defeating them by utilizing the truth is the only way to go.

The gameplay comprises exploration throughout the Kanai Ward, which is entirely 3D. Players will have to examine several crime scenes and other locations alongside interviewing involved parties. Hidden clues are emphasized as being hidden via specific camera angles.
