New NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Anime Trailer Teases Fans With a Brief Glimpse of A2; New Key Art

The official social media accounts for the upcoming NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime have shared a new key visual and trailer teasing the introduction of A2, one of the main characters from the game.

If you missed it, the previously announced NieR:Automata recently received multiple new trailers, a January 2023 broadcast window, and information from the staff, including Yoko Taro.

Additionally, the official Twitter account has confirmed that a live broadcast on Aniplex’s YouTube channel will occur on December 11, 18:00 JST delivering more news on the anime.

UPDATE 12/10/2022: The special program has been delayed for unspecified production reasons. A new date will be provided in the near future.

Ishikawa Yui (JP voice for 2B), Natsuki Hanae (JP voice of 9S), Kaoru Akiyama (JP Voice of Pod 153), and Yōsuke Saitō will be present.

NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch worldwide.

The game has a physical release with a reversible cover, and it is not a Cloud version. It includes all existing DLC and new NieR Replicant & Re[in]carnation costumes. Additionally, the title has now sold over 6.5 million units worldwide.

NieR:Automata was initially released in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, with an Xbox One release in 2018. The game follows characters named 2B and 9S, who are agents of Yorha, an organization tasked with various combative and information-gathering missions. This entry became highly popularized for its storytelling and characters in a fusion of action, exploration, and shmup elements.

NieR:Automata is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
