Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 DLC Pack 5 Now Available, Temporarily Free on Console; 16 Image Pulses

Developer Inti Creates has announced that the fifth DLC pack for their recently released 2D action title, Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, is now available, comprising the following 16 Image Pulses:

• 4 skill-type Image Pulses of Azure Striker Gunvolt’s “Carrera.”
• 4 skill-type Image Pulses of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2’s “Gibril”
• 4 skill-type Image Pulses of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2’s “Milas”
• 4 additional passive-type Image Pulses

This content is freely available during its first two weeks of launch on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, while intrigued Steam players will have to pay from the start. After the free two-week period on console, the DLC pack will cost $1.99.

Further, the European Nintendo Switch version of the game, specifically, won’t receive this DLC content until December 26, 2022, so it will be free to obtain there until January 8, 2023, at 11:59 PM.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 introduces a new character, Kirin, who utilizes quick sword and throwing abilities in combat. She can destroy enemies instantly using her “Arc Chain” ability and fast movement. She can also deflect projectiles using her sword. Furthermore, Gonvolt will also be playable and brings his own twist on his classic playstyle.

A new feature called Image Pulse is usable by Gunvolt, which allows him to summon comrades and drives from the past for a special attack. There are over 150 different Pulses that can be collected.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is available on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Series X|S. The game will launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on December 15, 2022, for $29.99.
