Gravity Rush 10-Year Anniversary Director Interview Provides Personal Insight; PC Port Desires, Thankfulness & More

To commemorate the Gravity Rush franchise’s 10-year anniversary, the fansite Gravity Rush Central interviewed the director of both entries, Keiichiro Toyama. This is a dense interview primarily honing on Toyama’s memories of conceptualization and development for both games, providing invaluable insight for diehard fans.

When Toyama was asked about the potentiality of Gravity Rush and its sequel receiving PC ports following Sony’s efforts porting their first-party games, he said the following:

“I think it would be a good thing to open the game up to more users. It would also be wonderful if Gravity Rush 2 ran on 60fps.”

Perhaps most notably, when asked about the idea of working on a new Gravity Rush entry, Toyama stated the following:

“There are various things to bear in mind as a start-up, but on a personal level I obviously would like to. Even if it wasn’t a new game, if there is any opportunity for me to be involved with anything related, I would be grateful to do so.”

On a wholesome note, Toyama is also aware of the #DontForgetGravityRush campaign occurring on social media and is delighted by these inestimable fan efforts.

This interview can be viewed entirely via Gravity Rush Central’s website in English and Japanese.
