Fighter ‘DNF Duel’ Gets Another Badass 30-Second Trailer That has Us Drooling

Nexon and Arc System Works revealed new gameplay for their upcoming fighter DNF Duel. The game is being co-developed by Neople, a subsidiary of Nexon, and Arc System Works, who have a portfolio of acclaimed fighters such a Granblue Fantasy: Versus.

The video highlight Striker, one of the playable characters in the game. It seems she is training to “achieve ultimate martial will through her fists,” where are hard as stone.

The game doesn’t have much of a description at this time other than it being based on the Dungeon and Fighter RPG franchise of 16 years, which has now become a 2.5D fighter. Players will be able to fight as a Berserker, Inquisitor, Striker, Grappler, Ranger, and more.

The game very much resembles previous Arc System Works fighters such as Granblue Fantasy Versus but takes on a much darker tone. Additionally, from the teaser reveal trailer, we see that the game is much faster compared to GBFV, which might excite more hardcore fans.

Dungeon&Fighter is an MMO beat ’em up that launched in 2005 on PC in South Korea. The game made its way to the west in 2010, where it was shut down in 2013, and then received a global release in 2015 with English support. There’s also an anime based on the franchise.

We’ll keep you updated with the development and release of DNF Duel, but enough about all this, here’s the trailer:
