Ace Attorney Celebrates 20-Year Anniversary; Original Trilogy Discounted on PSN, Switch, and Steam

To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the Ace Attorney franchise, publisher and developer Capcom have discounted Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on PC via Steam, PSN, and the eShop. It is roughly 10 dollars off across these 3 platforms, but the prices slightly vary. Unfortunately, the trilogy’s price on Xbox is unchanged as it is not discounted.

If you’ve played the recently released The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, then this trilogy is a must-play as it details the lawyer-related exploits of Ryunosuke’s descendant, Phoenix Wright. Speaking of, if you missed it, be sure to check out our review of the title as it is 1 of the few 10s we have ever awarded. Still, this trilogy is also perfectly comprehensible for those who have no background with the franchise. In fact, it is the most first-played entry point for fans.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has players assume the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an aspiring Japanese attorney. This character is meant to be an ancestor of Phoenix Wright and will need to solve 10 cases in the late 19th century during Japan’s Meiji Period and England’s Victorian Era. However, he does have the help of his Judicial Assistant Susato Mikatoba, and legendary detective Herlock Sholmes.

The title is available on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
