Escape Room Adventure ‘Abyss of the Sacrifice’ Remastered Announced for Switch and PC in Trailer

D3 Publisher announced they will publish the Intense-developed escape room visual novel adventure Misshitsu no Sacrifice or Abyss of the Sacrifice on Nintendo Switch on December 17 in Japan and later on PC-via Steam.  The game will launch with English support for western players.

Misshitsu no Sacrifice originally released in 2010 on PlayStation Portable, the game never received a western release. The game fuses escape room gameplay with adventure elements as five girls are trapped in a vast underground facility.

During gameplay, players will experience multiply endings as well as a fully voiced cast of characters. Updated systems include a hint function for beginners, an event viewer, redesigned graphic coloring, so the characters are more vivid, and touch screen support for the Nintendo Switch version to make searching through environments easier.

Misshitsu no Sacrifice features five girls, each with different personalities and skills. Throughout the game, players will choose who the main character is with the ending of the game based on the stages that the player completes. The puzzles in the game can be challenging, but it’s made that way to support multiple playthroughs.

The publisher released a new trailer that shows the game’s new art assets and CGs.
