Mega Man Series Producer Leaves Capcom

The producer of the Mega Man series, Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, has revealed via his Twitter profile that he has left Capcom. In recent years, he played significant roles in the Mega Man franchise’s bolstered growth due to his involvement in Mega Man 11, Mega Man X DiVE, and the various Legacy Collections.

The future of the Mega Man series is seeming brighter than ever before, thanks to the success of the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, as it has sold over one million units worldwide. Additionally, with the recent celebrations of the franchise’s 35th anniversary, there probably isn’t much to worry about, as Capcom likely has more faith in the IP than ever before.

We’ll keep you updated with future Mega Man-related announcements.
