2D Platform Shooter ‘Gravity Heroes’ Coming to Steam, Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in January 2021

PQube, Studica Solution, and Electric Monkeys have announced that their upcoming 2D platform shooter, Gravity Heroes, is coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and next-generation platforms via backward compatibility on January 22, 2021.

You can view the announcement trailer for Gravity Heroes below:

In this title, players take control as a member of the Gravity Heroes and combat hordes of synthetic enemies while attempting to strike a balance between man and machine in a futuristic war-torn world. The main gimmick and weapon utilized is the Gravity Shifter, which allows players to manipulate gravity at will. Players will use that ability alongside other unique skills as they cut down enemies, collect power-ups, new weapons, and switch up tactics to alter the climate of battle.

Gravity Heroes’ story is centered around a conflict between humans and Synthetics, which are pretty much robots capable of reproducing. The two have lived peacefully together for years thanks to a pact, but something is causing the Synthetics to raise arms against the humans and threaten to reignite the discord. A special task force is formed called Gravity Heroes to put a stop to it.

There is also a demo for this title available on Steam that allows players to get introduced to and get familiarized with the title’s gameplay loop.
