Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope The Last Spark Hunter DLC Now Available

Ubisoft has announced that their tactical adventure Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has received new DLC content comprising a new story and a new planet. Titled The Last Spark Hunter, the main cast investigates the Melodic Gardens, a planet where plants make music.

Now trapped here, the main characters face The Last Spark Hunter Kanya, who has created the Mecha King Bob-Omb weapon. During gameplay, players will solve puzzles involving the musical plants. Plus, Mario will find new allies and an old friend to rescue. Further, five new sparks will be featured for combat alongside the returning nine heroes.

The game’s soundtrack is available digitally.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is the sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, but it can be enjoyed entirely standalone since their narratives are not all that prominent. Combat has received a significant shakeup, abolishing the tile-based system of the debut entry and instead allowing for free movement within a limited range. Further, there is far more customization, and world map exploration has received a drastic overhaul, truly making for a stellar sequel.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is now available for Nintendo Switch.
