Adventure RPG ‘Heroland’ Gets PS4, Switch, and PC Release Date in the West

XSEED Games announced that the FuRyu-developed theme park RPG Heroland will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on December 3.

Heroland is a 2D RPG where players will be able to begin their journey as a hero in a zany theme park setting. Developed by legendary Japanese developers, director Takahiro Yamane (Fantasy Life), writer Nobuyuki Inoue (MOTHER 3, Legend of Mana), character designer Nobuhiro Imagawa (MOTHER 3, Legend of Mana), Heroland features RPG systems where players will explore dungeons, beat up enemies, and hopefully save Heroland from its dark history and impending doom. This all just so happens to be the correct path to becoming a hero.

“Squeak squeaky! Squeak,” said MonStar Team All-Star Li’l Slug, which translates roughly to, “We’re preparing all kinds of ‘fun’ activities for our victi…er…GUESTS to enjoy after our GRAND OPENING later this year. Why are you looking at me like that, never seen a slug talk before? You got a problem with that, buddy?!”

In case you missed it, there is a physical edition available for Switch and PS4, which contains:

  • A physical copy of Heroland for Nintendo Switch or PS4 system
  • 10.5” x 6” drawstring pouch
  • Musical Selections CD
  • 14” x 20” theme park-style folded map
  • Sumo wrestling papercraft
