Beloved JRPG Adventure ‘Final Fantasy VII’ Launches on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One

Square Enix released one of their most beloved JRPG’s, Final Fantasy VII, onto Nintendo Switch and Xbox One today, bringing the title to a console outside of the PlayStation family for the first time.

Final Fantasy VII introduces players to the main protagonist named Cloud as he joins a resistance group known as Avalanche who set out to stop the eco killing corporation Shinra. It just so happens that their action leads them to discover much more about the state of the world and themselves as they fight on to save the world.

Throughout the game, players will utilize the power of Materia to cast powerful magical spells as well as summons to defeat enemies. The adventure also has plenty of side-missions available to players who journey off of the beaten path including new characters.

Final Fantasy VII on Switch and Xbox One will feature the remastered offerings that its latest releases received including enhanced graphics, 3x speed mode, and the option to turn off enemy encounters and max stats.

The publisher also released a new trailer to celebrate the game’s release on console and give new gamers the chance to play one of the most renowned and cherished JRPGs ever.
