If You Still Use Your 3DS, Some Cool Atlus Games Are Discounted; Persona Q, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Devil Survivor & More

Developer Atlus has announced that several of their 3DS titles are currently discounted on the 3DS eShop, such as the Etrian Odyessy series, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Devil Survivor Overclocked, and much more.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth and Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth are discounted. These titles are dungeon crawler crossovers, with the former uniting the casts of Persona 3 and Persona 4 while the latter brings in the Persona 5 cast and the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable. However, their difficulty is definitely above the level of what mainline Persona requires, so it’s best to keep that in mind prior to a potential foray.

As its name implies, Shin Megami Tensei IV is the fourth mainline title of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. It boasts a unique samurai-era esque aesthetic that other games don’t utilize and is a fantastic welcoming entry for those unfamiliar with the series. Still, the recently released Shin Megami Tensei V has earned the crown for that role. Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse is best played after having experienced Shin Megami Tensei IV.

There are some real gems discounted here, so best to take advantage of these deals while they’re available. Of course, it’d be cool to see at least a few of these games make their way to more modern platforms, but you shouldn’t hold your breath.
