Pac-Man Live-Action Film Announced

Entertainment outlet, The Hollywood Reporter has announced that a live-action Pac-Man film is in development. Bandai Namco will be collaborating with “Wayfarer Studios, the production company founded by Justin Baldoni and Steve Sarowitz,” for this upcoming project.

The only other provided bit of information is the following:

The project will be based on an original idea from Chuck Williams (Sonic the Hedgehog) of Lightbeam Entertainment. Baldoni, Manu Gargi and Andrew Calof will produce on behalf of Wayfarer Studios; Williams and Tim Kwok will produce on behalf of Lightbeam.

I guess the Pac really is back, in more ways than one. We’ll keep you updated on any other details that sprout regarding this wild project.

Pac Man Mega Tunnel Battle 4

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on August 26, 2022.

This is a classic and beloved 3D platforming adventure where the iconic Pac-Man courageously entered a new genre so many years ago. Hopefully, this remake is done justice. Players will explore various locales to save his family. Several moves are also available such as the butt-bounce and the rev-roll.

Further, a limited edition is available for pre-order ($119.99), granting a Chogokin Chrome Noir figure and a bonus Chrome Noir Chogoskin cosmetic DLC.
