Bandai Namco Launches Tales of Symphonia Remastered Post-Launch Survey; Asks if You Acquired it Illegally
Bandai Namco has launched a public survey regarding Tales of Symphonia Remastered. The questionnaire asks players what aspects of the game they enjoyed and did not enjoy the most, how they perceived the difficulty level, and what types of issues they encountered.
Every issue well-known about the game’s Nintendo Switch version is listed. And oddly, when asking how one acquired the title, one of the listed options is “I downloaded it illegally.” I highly doubt anyone would truthfully answer that, even in an anonymous survey, but I digress. Other questions include what other Tales of games you have played, your favorite genres, and other tangentially related topics.

The anime was recently fully uploaded onto YouTube for free with English subtitles.
Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the latest versions as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable anime events and improved maritime navigation.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
