Time-Travelling RPG ‘Reverse: 1999’ Coming West for Mobile & PC; Closed Beta Sign-Ups Currently Available

BluePoch Games has announced that closed beta registrations for the western release of their Reverse: 1999 game, which is coming to Mobile and PC at an undisclosed release date, are currently open until July 31st. Those who want to participate in the Closed Beta can register for Android, iOS or PC through the official website, with the beta itself lasting from August 4th until August 13th. Only 1500 participants will be chosen at random for this beta and progress will not be retained for the final release.

Below are the recommended requirements for each of the platforms:

  • Android: Version 6.0 or later, Snapdragon 821 or equivalent, 4 GB of RAM, 6 GB or more of free space.
  • iOS: iOS 13.0 or later, iPhone 6S or newer models only, 6 GB or more of free space.
  • PC: Intel Core i5 or equivalent, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or equivalent, 8 GB of RAM or more, 10 GB or more of free space.

Reverse: 1999 is set across a stylish alternate history where supernatural forces are controlled by Arcanists—natural-born spellcasters. On the last day of 1999, The Storm descended. You, the Timekeeper, witnessed the end of an era in the rising raindrops. What appears before you now seems to be an era long past.

Strangely, you’re uniquely immune to the effects of The Storm. After these “Storms”, you’ll travel to different eras. With the help of your colleague Sonetto, seek out the arcanists from across time who, like you, can sense the omens of The Storm and help them escape their fate, lest they be “sifted out” of the timeline. Researching a force like this will require gathering the strangest and most powerful allies you can imagine.
