Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Shares a Whole Ton of Concept Art

Developer PlatinumGames recently published a new post on their official blog, introducing and detailing countless pieces of concept artwork used for their latest puzzle adventure game Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon features a storybook-like design where each area looks as if it has been painted by hand. You’re able to take your time with the adventure, but there is a challenge that lurks in each trial. Action elements are weaved into the puzzle themes, but there are some added options to reduce damage and simplify progression.

We have compiled these concept illustrations, viewable via our gallery below:

Lead Concept Artist Jun Seung Jin goes into quite a bit of extensive detail regarding these illustrations, so I highly recommend giving his thoughts on PlatinumGames’ blog a read if you’re curious.

An official video showcasing the Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon concept artwork is viewable below:

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is available on Nintendo Switch. A free demo is also available with save data transference to the full retail release.
