New Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless Trailer Explains Demonic Intelligence & Poltergas

NIS America has shared a new English trailer for their upcoming tactical JRPG Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless.

The Demonic Intelligence system is explained, allowing players to spend a resource called Poltergas to get through battles more quickly and efficiently. Each player turn in an auto-battle consumes a single Poltergas, so to get the most out of it, it’s best to use Demonic Intelligence, setting a character’s behavior throughout their turns. There’s a vast menu players can input their desired commands into, so there’s plenty to play around with.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless follows Fuji, a poor demon allergic to human expressions, including emotions such as love and friendship. Further, other characters include Piririka, Ao, Wey-yasu, and Higan Zesshousai, who each join the adventure.

A new feature of the game is Jumbofication, where the character grows larger than the map and can unleash powerful attacks on multiple enemies. Additionally, items can now be reincarnated to be stronger, similar to weapons. Characters can also be reincarnated to return to level 1 but with the option to retain some of their stats.
