Resident Evil Re:Verse Reveals Open Beta Test Dates Set For April

Capcom has announced that players will soon be able to sign up for the Resident Evil Re:Verse Open Beta test happening from April 7, 2021, 11:00 PM (PDT) through April 10, 2021, 11:00 PM (PDT).

The publisher also another that the supported hardware for the open beta will be PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC-via Steam.

PlayStation 5 will play the PS4 version, and Xbox Series X will play the Xbox One version. Players who wish to enter need a Capcom ID, and to own the consoles, it’s that easy.

The open beta period will allow players to play the game and provide feedback to the developers. It’s noted that this will test the game’s system, balance, and servers.

Resident Evil Re:Verse is a third-person shooter online multiplayer game featuring characters from the Resident Evil series. Game modes can accommodate four to six players through 5-minute encounters where players will use weapons and items to survive. Each playable survive will have a set of skills and abilities along with a customizable loadout. If you die in a match, you become a bioweapon that can earn some extra points. Once you are downed in this form, you’ll respawn as a survivor.
