Front Mission 1 Remake Launching November 2022, 2 Remake Launching 2023; 3 Remake Announced

During today’s Nintendo Direct, the previously announced remake for Front Mission 1st was confirmed to be releasing this November. The remake for Front Mission 2 will be arriving in 2023. And the third game’s remake was confirmed to be launching at an unspecified date in the future.

This is particularly notable as the first-ever official localization for Front Mission 2 in any capacity, as while the first game was eventually released in North America via a Nintendo DS port in 2008, the second has never seen any kind of release outside of Japan. These remakes, with the first one announced to be arriving in summer 2022, are the first “traditional” entries in the series since Front Mission 5, which was released only in Japan in 2005 for the PlayStation 2.
