Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent Global First Anniversary Live; New Story, Travelers & More

Square Enix has announced that the global version of their mobile RPG Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent has been updated to celebrate its first anniversary.

A list of what players can now enjoy is quoted below:

• New Chapter of the “Bestower of All” Storyline – Players can take part in the “Bestower of All, Chapter 2: Hill of the Dead” story, where the Guardians of Light prepare for an attack on Cragspear following the events of Chapter 1. Return to Valore with Bargello and the rest of the family to visit the grave of fallen friends and witness the appearance of a new gate to Hell.
• New Travelers – Players can add the game’s three Masters to their band through the Champions of Memories banner and STEP UP Guide. Obtain these powerful characters with unique abilities and lead your party to victory.
• Win New Rewards in Fortune’s Gameboard – Players can test their board-game skills with Fortune’s Gameboard. This new feature allows each player to tailor the difficulty to their own level, making it enjoyable for beginners and veterans alike. If you dare, take on challenging boards to become the gameboard’s champion.
• Claim Login Bonuses and Various Rewards – Starting July 26, collect Sacred Seals, up to 888 Rubies and more.
• Traveler’s Passes – Players can finally purchase the long-awaited Traveler’s Passes, which offer a variety of in-game services for 30 days.
