Kadokawa and Dengeki have announced that the latest light novel for A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Magical Index Genesis Testament Volume 8, is now available for purchase in Japan for ¥748. Additionally, Bookwalker has a free 60-page trial as well as a purchase option.

Following the events of Genesis Testament Volume 7, protagonist Touma Kamijou finds himself alongside Anna and Aradia, facing various threats, including Kingsford. A Certain Magical Index originated as a light novel series before expanding into several other media, such as video games and manga adaptations. In fact, entire spinoffs have been birthed from Magical Index, including the significantly more popular A Certain Scientific Railgun.
