J-Novel Announces Acquisition of “Accidentally in Love: The Witch, the Knight, and the Love Potion Slipup” Light Novel; March 2023 Release

Publisher J-Novel recently announced the acquisition of the Accidentally in Love: The Witch, the Knight, and the Love Potion Slipup light novel by Harunadon with illustrations by Eda. Released back in January 2023 in Japan as Koi-suru Majo wa Elite kishi ni Horegusuri O Noma sete Shimaimashita ~Itsuwari Kara Hajimaru Watashi no Dekiai Seikatsu, the light novel will be released in North America on March 28, 2023, under the J-Novel Heart imprint.

In this light novel, the story involves Cecily, a shy witch who lives quietly in the forest on the outskirts of the kingdom. One day, she falls in love with Zeke, a gallant knight captain who saves her from a tight spot. Thrilled to finally meet the man of her dreams, she accidentally gives Zeke a love potion, suddenly prompting him to fall madly in love with her. The title makes it seem like it’s an isekai, but in fact, it’s a really funny romantic tale involving this rather odd relationship that was born from a lie.
