Furry-Noir Detective Adventure ‘Backbone’ Promise New Game in Teaser Trailer

Raw Fury released a teaser trailer for a new entry of the EggNut-developed noir adventure Backbone series coming in 2022.

The trailer is brief and highlights a well-designed pixelated environment, but nothing more has been revealed at this time. We’ll just have to follow the development of the game, but you can be sure that we’ll share it with you.

Backbone was initially released on PC earlier this year and gave players a lot to look forward to in terms of character and story development. That’s what makes a sequel such a good idea because there is room for this world to be expanded on.

Backbone is a post-noir roleplay detective adventure where you meed private investigate Howard Lotor. By exploring the pixel art streets of Vancouver, British Columbia, Howard has seen it all. However, after years of small-time cases, lonely evenings, and just barely scraping by, he is swept into a job quite unlike any other before it. What starts as a menial case slowly unravels into something much darker, pitting Howard against the oppressive, systemic power hierarchies of the City itself.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development of this new Backbone sequel.
