Muv-Luv Alternative – Vol 01 Manga is Available Now in the West

Anchor has launched the manga Muv-Luv Alternative – Vol 01 in the west for fans to enjoy.

Muv-Luv Alternative – Vol 01 is the first volume of the manga from Makishima Azusa and is based on the visual novel series. The story follows the teenager Shirogane Takeru, who was transported to Earth, which is currently under attack by creatures known as BETA. Provided he has a fighting spirit. Takeru volunteers to save the world, only to fail miserably.

However, now he is stuck in a time loop and forced to relive some of the most painful moments of his life as his friends die. After counters iterations, he’s ready to change the outcome of his fate. Takeru finds himself on a quest to find his former teacher Kouzuki Yuuko and ensure the completion of the Alternative IV project. The hard part is completing this task when he doesn’t really know what it is.
