Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy Heads to Switch Later This Year

Nintendo announced that the Level-5 developed mystery adventure game Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy- Deluxe Edition will release on Nintendo Switch on November 8.

Originally released on Nintendo 3DS and mobile, players will be able to jump back into the shoes of Katrielle Layton as she investigates various mysteries around town. Being that this game has only released on handheld devices, players can play it for the first time on a television screen, using the Switch in docked mode.

During gameplay, players assume the role of Katrielle Layton who is searching for her father. You probably already guessed that her father is Professor Layton. Anyway, along the way she finds herself wrapped up in various other mysteries that leads her to assist civilians with random cases.

Along the way, players will need to solve mini-puzzles in order to progress the narrative. These puzzles are a range of mini-game-like events that get tougher in the later parts of the game. Additionally, players will be able to customize Katrielle’s threads by changing her clothes. The developers haven’t announced whether they will have DLC items available for Switch players, but we’ll soon find out.

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy is available now on Nintendo 3DS and iOS and Android devices.
