China Hero Project Action RPG ‘Daba: Land of Water Scar’ Announced for PS5; 22 Minutes of Gameplay Revealed

During the latest ChinaJoy event, Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Dark Star announced their new action RPG Daba: Land of Water Scar. This title is part of the China Hero Project’s third phase, with the prior phases producing titles like Anno: Mutationem and Lost Soul Aside.

The following is a synopsis of the title shared by the outlet Gematsu:

“Daba: Land of Water Scar is a new title from Dark Star. It tells the story of a humanoid clay puppet. When the world is on the verge of collapse, the puppet traces the whereabouts of the water fragments within the ancient city and, throughout their journey of defeating enemies and seeking answers, unravels the story of the world and oneself.

The game features various landscapes, including abandoned ruins, a magnificent ancient city, gloomy prison, a vast rift valley, an expansive snowfield, a deadly forest, and a floating city. Non-linear levels are interconnected, distinct, and intricate.”
