Guilty Gear Strive Achieves 2.5 Million Players Worldwide

Developer Arc System Works has announced that the latest entry in the Guilty Gear franchise, Guilty Gear Strive, has achieved 2.5 million players worldwide, fittingly matching the series’ 25th anniversary this year.

It’s worth noting that this number does not mean sales since the game is part of Xbox Game Pass. Guilty Gear series director Daisuke Ishiwatari recently shared a message to fans for the 25th anniversary.

Guilty Gear: Strive is the newest entry in the Guilty Gear series. The game was created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works to bring a hybrid 2D/3D fighter to fans. The game is known for its high difficulty level and beautiful combo system where players can master characters to cause severe damage.
